The Chairman welcomed the members and asked them to participate fully in the meeting. This was the first meeting since the time they were voted to office ad since nothing was handed over to us there were no minutes to be confirmed.MIN/1/1/2015 CALENDER OF EVENT 2014/15 2 The members went through the proposed calendar of events drafted by the executive and agreed that the calendar be adopted as it is.MIN/2/1/2015 BUDGET PROPOSAL 2014/15 3 The members went through the proposed budget and adopted it.MIN/3/1/2015 FINANCIAL REPORT 4 The parish treasurerà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s report was as follows:- * All the four congregations have paid the MMF in total, however from a verbal report received from the parish, of the available balance was not clear. The treasurer should get a true picture of the state of the parish PCMF account. * According to figures available the state of account would be as follows:-INCOMEBalance B/F from 2013/2014 72,185MMF 2014/2015 250,000TOTAL INCOME 322,185EXPENDITUREVisit of regional director 15,000PCMF parish meeting 5,000Presbyterial MMF 64,000PCMF 2% (parish) 44,699.47TOTAL EXP ENITURE 128,699.47 1 The congregation reported that the uji project is going well. Lekuruki congregation complained that they only have five active members and that MMF of 45,000 is very high for them. It was agreed that MMF for all congregational PCMF be calculated using the formula given by the parish based n the elder of the district.MIN 5/1/2015 CONFERMENT OF BADGES 2 It was agreed the parish moderator be approached so that the ceremony be done in April 2015. The chairman to take up this matter. All congregation to forward names of members who qualify for conferment of badges and cards.MIN 6/1/2015 SEMINAR 3 Members were informed that the parish medical board is planning for a prostate cancer seminar be held in April 2015. The medical board requested or PCMF to chip in funding the seminar. It was agreed PCMF give the medical board Ksh 5,000 (five thousand only). All men were encouraged to attend the seminar.MIN 7/1/2015 RITE OF PASSAGE 4 This issue was addressed at leng th. As the hosting parish, Oloolaiser parish gets nothing from the event. When things run smoothly, we are okay but when things donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬t run smoothly we are to blame for a thing we do not know about. It was agreed that the details of what goes on as far as rite of passage is concerned be shared by all.MIN 8/1/2015 A.O.B 5 It was observed that when a PCMF members passes on the parish does not participate fully in the funeral arrangements. This issue was discussed at length and it was agreed that when a member dies the parish (PCMF) should avail Ksh 10,000 (ten thousand only) to the family of the deceased member to assist in the funeral. This is applicable only to active members who participate in all PCMF activities and do pay their subscriptions as laid down in constitution. The money should be availed in good time before the funeral date. All congregations to maintain two records ...
